WINTER 2026 JUNIOR COMPETITION REGISTRATIONS ERT
Winter Season Dates:
Early May – end of August
There is no competition play over public or school holidays.
Entries Close: 9th March
General Information:
Donvale Tennis Club (DTC) participate in the Eastern Region Tennis Association Junior Competition (ERT).
DTC competes on Saturday and Sunday mornings,
ERT is a team competition, with teams competing against other teams from clubs across the Eastern Region.

Membership Requirements:
All players must be financial members of the tennis club. Membership provides unlimited play during daylight hours, with additional charges for night-time play.

Volunteer Support:
Each club has a Junior Committee made up of volunteer parents who help with registration, team selection, and managing the junior program.
We encourage all families to consider volunteering – your support is greatly appreciated!
Team Selection:
The Junior Committee selects teams based on the following
Statistics from previous seasons
Universal Tennis Rating (UTR)
Input from convenors and coaches
The age and social needs of each child
Parental Requests:
Requests for team placement will be considered, but must be submitted in writing.
Team Captains:
Each team will have a captain who will manage week-to-week team organization.
Parental Involvement:
Parents are expected to supervise teams and help run the canteen on a roster system.
