A Tennis Australia program, designed specifically to meet the needs of children. The smaller courts and racquets combined with low compression balls make it possible for children to develop tennis skills quickly.
All lessons are based on the philosophy of learning to play and will teach skills for life.

The Four Fun Stages of Hot Shots
Hot Shots is a lot of fun and it’s a great way to encourage your kids to maintain an active lifestyle.
Apart from skills like agility, flexibility and speed, the program will help your kids learn vital social skills, and they will make lots of friends along the way.
To ensure your child is playing at a level that’s right for them, the Hot Shots program has four stages designed to suit every age and ability.
Hot Shots Blue Stage – Kinder Kidz
A starter tennis program for pre-school aged children. Our coaches combine fundamental motor skills, such as hand eye coordination, balance and movement with the basic techniques of tennis.
The friendly, fun-filled, game-based classes use modified equipment and allow the children to develop their love of tennis through play.
Hot Shots Red Stage
The Red stage is for school aged children. The red ball is larger than a yellow ball and doesn’t bounce as high (just 25 per cent compression), making it a breeze for even the youngest players to hit comfortably.
The courts and nets used in the Red stage are much smaller and easier for kids to move around.
Hot Shots Orange Stage
After mastering the Red stage, children move on to the Orange stage, where the ball bounces a little higher (50% compression) and the court is a bit bigger.
Kids continue to develop their skills in a modified tennis environment, while having a really good time.
Hot Shots Green Stage
The ball used in the Green stage has a higher compression (75% of a yellow tennis ball) and children play on a full-size tennis court.

Hot Shots Tennis Match Play is a whole new level of fun.
Match Play is a fun and social way for kids to get into team tennis and is played at Red Ball, Orange Ball and Green Ball level.
